Iguana Restaurants
“Pili’s Kitchen” at the Hacienda Iguana Beach Club **
Location: At the community beach club in front of Colorados surf break on the south end of Iguana’s beach.
Hours: 8:00am to 8:30pm – Breakfast 8:00am t0 11:30am, Lunch 11:30am to 4:30pm and Dinner 4:30pm to 8:30pm – Restaurant Closed Mondays (bar is open every day)

Location: In Iguana’s commercial area, just above NSR surf shop.

Just Outside the Gates
(15 minute drive)
Jasco’s
Location: Turn right outside of the main Iguana gate. Follow the road for about 200 meters and turn left into the Rivera Market. Jasco’s is just up the stairs.
Meals: Lunch & Dinner Wednesday to Saturday 12-9pm, Sundays Dinner only 4-9pm – Closed Mondays and Tuesdays

Mi Ranchito
Location: Turn left outside of the main Iguana gate. Follow the road for about 400 meters and you will see the sign for the restaurant on your right shortly after you cross over the bridge.

Most Popular Restaurants South of Iguana
Restaurants in Gigante: There are 6-8 restaurants in the fishing village of Gigante located 2 bays south of Iguana. You can find a variety of food including Local Cuisine and Contemporary Menus. Please find menus for some of these establishments in this info guide. Gigante is a 45-minute walk or 20-minute drive away.
Directions to Guacalito or Aqua: Follow the road from Iguana for about 5 kilometers passing the first turn off to Gigante on your right (road can be bad) and then turn right on to the 2nd turn to Gigante. There will be a bus station on the left side of the road and directly across from that is the main road with a sign for Gigante (sign faces traffic coming the other direction). Follow the road to Gigatne, the entrance for Guacalito will be on your left (you can’t miss it) and about 2 kilometers after that you will reach the entrance for Aqua/Redonda Bay which will also be on your left. If you continue on this road you will go into the center of Gigante.
“Coconut Bar” at Aqua** (Reservation Required)
Location: Coming in on the main road to Gigante (see above) you will see a sign and gate for Redonda Bay and Aqua on your left. Stop at this gate and tell the guard that you are going to the restaurant. Follow the road, veer left at the next guard house and park at the reception building at the top of the hill. From the door of the reception building head down the stairs to the right and follow the wooden bridge. Turn right where you see the gong and follow the stairs to the bottom, and you will be at the beachfront restaurant.

Cafe Cicada**
Location: Head towards Gigante on the main road (the second entrance from Iguana). You will enter Gigante and come to a T in the road where you will see the large Playa Gigante sign. Turn left (head south) at this sign. You will find Café Cicada about 200 meters down the road, on your right (beach side).
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch – 8am to 2pm – Open Friday through Monday
Price: $6-$9
Menu: Delicious breakfast and lunch foods, baked good, fresh juice and coffee. Special Brunch menu changes weekly.
Juntos**
Location: Head towards Gigante on the main road (the second entrance from Iguana). You will enter into Gigante and come to a T in the road where the Playa Gigante sign is. Turn left (head south) at this T. You will find Juntos about 200 meters down the road, on your right (beachside).
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner – 11am-10pm on Weekdays

El Pozo (Delivery: +505-8282-7821)
Location: Head towards Gigante on the main road (the second entrance from Iguana). You will enter Gigante and come to a T in the road where the Playa Gigante sign is. Turn right (head north) at the sign. You will find El Pozo about 100 meters down the road, on your right.
Meals: Lunch and Dinner – 2pm-11pm

Most Popular Restaurants to the North of Iguana
(20–30-minute drive)
“La Finca y El Mar” at Rancho Santana (Reservation Required) **
Location: Turn left outside of the main Iguana gates and follow the road for about 15 minutes. Enter the main entrance for Rancho Santana (will be on the left). You must make a reservation 24 hours in advance in order to enter the gates. For reservations call 8809-6153 or email at lafinca@ranchosantana.com.
Meals: Dinner only available to outside guests with a reservation.
Price: $8-$35

Yolanda’s
Location: East side of the dirt road in Limon #2. Turn left out of the Iguana gates and follow the road for about 20 minutes. You will pass both the Rancho Santana gates and continue on through Limon 2. Near the end of town you will see a sign for Yolanda’s on your right.

Magnific Rock**
Location: Turn left out of the Iguana gates and follow the road for about 25 minutes. You will pass both Rancho Santana gates and drive past the turn for Playa Jiquelite, through Limon 2 and past Yolandas. A few kilometers past Limon 2 you will see a sweeping left with a sign for Magnific Rock. Follow this road to the end (you will be on the road for about 6-10 minutes).

We have only mentioned the restaurants closest to Iguana and the largest or most popular options outside the gates but there are many more wonderful local restaurants in Gigante, Playa Jiquelite (Rancho Santana´s beach), Popoyo and Guasacate to explore and enjoy.
