Nicaragua’s Premier Surf, Beach and Golf Destination

Enjoy the mile and a half long, pristine beach of Playa Iguana (also know as Playa Colorado).  Play a round of golf on our well manicured, 9-hole, community golf course.  There is plenty more to see and do including nature viewing, jungle and oceanview hikes, massage, yoga, boat trips, fishing, horseback riding, surf lessons, moto rentals and more!

 

ABOUT US:  My name is Lindsey and my husband, Seth, and I started Iguana Surf Rentals in 2009.  We visited Nicaragua yearly starting in 2005 in search of the best combination of surf, culture, community and nature and think we have found exactly that. We started our adventure of living here by running a small breakfast cafe in the community and that blossomed into many other great opportunities.  We have lived here 10 years now and feel we are very knowledgeable about the area, surroundings and surf.     Seth and Lindsey were the PERFECT hosts last November when my daughter and I visited Nicaragua for the first time. From my initial call with them to book the beautiful beachfront Casa Almendra, to booking our airport transfers, to the golf cart rides around the property, to making us feel like home while in Hacienda Iguana, they were INCREDIBLE local hosts. I'd recommend working with Seth and Lindsey and the team at Iguana Surf Rentals if you are considering a visit or return to this BEAUTIFUL part of Nicaragua...they will take great care of you and your family!

    Just completed our 2nd stay at Pasatiempo. Iguana Surf Rentals was once again outstanding to work with. The house was impeccable, cleaning and maintenance crew did a great job, never ran out of bottled water. Also very responsive when we had an issue with the safe - sent a repairman over and got it fixed right away. Will definitely rent from ISR again whenwe return to Playa Colorados.

    We recently used Iguana Surf Rentals to arrange our stay at Hacienda Iguana and they were great! Leading up to our stay, Lindsey was extremely helpful and responsive with all our bookings. And then Seth looked after us very well while we were there. I only have good things to say about Lindsey and Seth. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable!

    Seth and Lindsey took such great care of us from the transport from the airport, groceries, golf cart, surfboards, and made sure we had everything we needed. So thankful for their amazing friendly service.

    Our 2nd time renting from Iguana Surf Rentals. We have used their golf cart rentals and airport transfer services. Both were easy, as Lindsey and Ingrid always communicated promptly. The airport transfers they arranged with Rafael was great. He was the perfect driver, sharing information about Nicaragua as we commuted safely both ways. He was on time and helped get our family’s luggage and surfboards loaded with care. Highly recommend.

    Best vacation with the family ever. The surf was awesome, the pool is great and everyone has a lot of fun. Thank you so much we’ll be back for sure.
