Iguana Restaurants and Shopping

Within the community of Hacienda Iguana there are currently 8 restaurants and 2 cafes. The restaurant at the beach club, Pili’s Kitchen, serves healthy and delicious plates for breakfast, lunch and dinner and has a great beach bar with happy hour specials. Iguana Brewery is just across from Sidebar and serves its locally made craft beers in addition to a full bar, and doubles as a complete restaurant with breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  Next to Iguana Brewery you will find Glo Flex. Glo Flex offers fresh and healthy food including vegan, vegetarian and chicken options as well as smoothie bowls, coffee and healthy desserts and is open for breakfast and lunch. Sidebar is an artisan coffee, juice, breakfast and panini shop. Downtown Iguana is a restaurant with local Nicaraguan cuisine, open for lunch and dinner, and located in the commercial area below Casa Ananas and next to NSR.  Casa Ananas, located above NSR, is open for dinner with delicious and authentic Italian pizza, pasta and more.  The Salty Koala is right next to Stop and Go Surf Market and offers Asian cuisine. Jascos is in the La Joya Commercial Area and offers sushi, sashimi, tacos, fish plates, pasta and more. In addition, there is a café (De La Casa) and bakery (La Paloma) in Plaza Colorado. In Iguana’s commercial area you will also find a La Fise ATM, NSR Surf Shop, Fonzarelli’s Ice Cream Shop, Cocos y Vinos, Stop and Go Surf Market (groceries), Rios Market (groceries), San Martin Meats, Iguana Farmacy and First Response Clinic and our office, Iguana Surf Rentals and Real Estate. Plaza Colorado has Fruti Mar (fruit and vegetable market), Ola Studio, Glow Concept Store and Salon and Paloma Bakery. La Joya Commercial area has Pure Spa and Studio 7 Gym.
