Casa Almendra is a stunningly rejuvenated beachfront property comprising of 4 bedrooms, surrounded by lush almond trees with an unbeatable view of the Colorados beach break. Located directly on the beach, this home offers effortless access to the renowned Colorados beach break and is just a short 15-minute walk from the Panga Drops surf break. The community beach club, pool, restaurant and bar are conveniently located just 50 yards (a 1-minute walk) away. The house underwent a full renovation in 2018, with no expense spared. The result is a luxurious property with high-end custom furniture, premium finishings, and a spacious, shaded pool featuring a shallow area perfect for children. The property also includes a second-story balcony that provides stunning views and a third-story star-gazing deck, ideal for those who love to spend their evenings marveling at the night sky. With modern amenities such as high-speed fiber optics internet (100mbps), VIU TV, and a propane BBQ grill, you can enjoy all the conveniences of home. Plus, the added reassurance of a backup generator that even powers AC units ensures that your stay is uninterrupted in the event of a power outage.

The house boasts a master bedroom upstairs with two twin beds that can be combined to make a king bed, a private bathroom, direct access to a large balcony, and unobstructed ocean views. Downstairs, there are three more bedrooms, each with two twin beds that can also be united to make a king bed. The Junior Suite has its own private bathroom, while the other two bedrooms share a bathroom. All rooms have air conditioning, including the living areas.

To ensure your stay is as relaxing as possible, there are three employees who work daily at the property: a full-time housekeeper, a night guard, and a pool cleaner/gardener.

2025 Rates– (Daily cleaning included)

  • High Season – March through September and November: $775/night for up to 4p and $50/night for each additional person ($25/night for each additional child under 12 years old), 5 night minimum
  • Low Season – December, January, February and October: $725/night for up to 4 people and $50/night for each additional person ($25/night for each additional child under 12 years old), 4 night minimum
  • Thanksgiving Week: $890/night for up to 4 people and $50/night for each additional person ($25/night for each additional child under 12 years old), 6 night minimum
  • Holidays (Easter Week, Christmas and New Years): $1000/night for up to 4 people and $50/night for each additional person ($25/night for each additional child under 12 years old), 7 night minimum

Cancellations made more than sixty (60) days prior to the beginning of the rental period will be fully refunded less a $200 administration fee and any payment processing fees. Cancellations made thirty (30) to sixty (60) days prior to the beginning of the rental period forfeit 25% of the 50% Deposit plus a $200 administrative fee and any payment processing fees. Cancellations thirty (30) days or less from the beginning of the rental period forfeit all of the 50% deposit. For any cancellation, if Iguana Surf Rentals is able to rent the property for the same dates and fee then the deposit will be fully refunded less a $200 administrative fee and any payment processing fees.

    It's hard to put into words how awesome our experience was staying at Casa Almendra. It was nothing short of amazing! The house is a perfect set up with a great rooms, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, very clean, and amazing views from the decks. The backyard and pool couldn't be better, with the beautiful trees in the pool area that provide all day shade from the hot sun right in front of Playa Colorado's main break. The chefs, house cleaners, and landscaper kept the house clean an organized for us every day, we had nothing to worry about! Lindsey and Seth were amazing hosts that were super responsive to all our requests for activities, taxi's, and other info. I'm already looking forward to planning my next trip!

    Casa Almendra is incredible, and one of the best houses on the beach at Hacienda Iguana. The house is modern and well equipped to cater to your needs. The pool and garden area look directly on to Playa Colorado which makes for some epic barrel viewing

    We just returned from our second year at Casa Almendra and already locked in for next year. One of the nicest homes in one of the best locations in Hacienda Iguana. Private, clean, updated. All the amenities you would want. Can't wait to get back there next year!

    We have stayed at Casa Almendra the last two summers and have truly enjoyed ever minute of it. It's an extremely spacious home inside. The pool has a perfect mix of shade and sun. The yard has a beautiful grass area with appropriate shade on the hot summer days that provides for a nice environment to watch the surfers ride the waves, kids play on the beach while also catching the sunset every night.

    Definitely one of the nicest, well designed places we've ever stayed at. The Casa Almendra house is located on the premier Colorados surf break, and is gorgeous inside and out. The house was remodeled in a very cool and comfortable way and with 3 floors of amazing views. The pool is hands down the best pool we've ever experienced. Its designed for play, relaxation and views of the surf all rolled into one. There's ample room for 8 with two master suites and two more rooms with two twin beds each. Each room has a bathroom, a/c and fans with very comfortable beds. The support staff are magnificent people who are both professional and very kind and welcoming. We arranged to have a golf cart for the week which was fun to get around the community and see all the shops and restaurants, which are also excellent. I can't say enough about the quality of this place. We're looking forward to our return!

    WOW! What a house! My wife and I are real estate investors, so it takes a lot to impress us, and this house did not disappoint. Plenty of space for six adults, the pool and grounds were immaculate, and the tiny house was a real treat to see. You'll feel like you're staying in something out of an HGTV show in this house. Oh, and did I mention it's right in front of the beach? Every morning I woke up and went body surfing. Incredible! Also, the community is really cool, with a nice little restaurant 100 yards away that serves up some great eats. We were so sad to have to leave and return to cold and frumpy old Atlanta. It's a good thing this house is named Casa Almendra, because it's NUTS how awesome it is.

We provide an info guide in the condo, with information on activities, hikes, day trip ideas, maps, a restaurant guide, local restaurant menus etc. We also rent 4 and 6 passenger golf carts, can arrange your airport transportation for you and offer meal package options if you are staying in our properties.
